Social Media Management
C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement
(Aug 2023 – current)
@themarvincenter
I am currently serving as the Multimedia Intern and Assistant for the C. Raymond Marvin Center this school year. Amongst my various responsibilities in this position, I have been given full control over the department’s social media presence. The goals I have in this position are to create a more authentic look to the account, increase followers and engagement through reels, and to tell the story and mission of the department. Currently, I have moved away from graphic heavy content and have implemented reels into monthly postings, which have garnered on average a view count of about 2,800 per reel, typically doubling our follower count. While still following BGSU branding guidelines, I have centered my grid layout to follow certain themes that coincide with events and the seasons.
Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy
(Aug 2022 – April 2023)
@bgsupla
The goal of managing this page was to tell the 25 year story of the PLA and its values and mission. To do this, I featured spotlights of scholars and their achievements through individualized posts, as well as story takeovers to better show scholar’s day to day lives. I designed this page to feel very authentic and personal to the PLA.
Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity
(Oct 2021 – Nov 2022)
@bgsu_ato
The goal of managing this page was to promote the values of ATO and to market our fraternity as well for protentional new members. When I first got this position, the account seemed to be distant from its audience due to the lack of faces on the account. I decided I wanted to center the account around people-focused content to make it more personable and authentic. The account increased by over 250 followers during my time and our social media presence is one of the best on campus.
